KOKKON
Grensgeval in collaboration with Aifoon
A scintillating circus meeting between petrified acrobats, paving stones and dancing concrete
A scintillating circus encounter between blocked acrobats, dancing concrete and city streets.
Jakob is on his travels with concrete feet and arms full of sound. He drags en draws himself through the city, step by heavy step, searching for the lightness of a balloon. He invites the audience to follow him and, perhaps, to help him carry his load. When they finally find the man with a head of concrete, it marks the beginning of an unexpected duet.
KOKKON is an open air performance for families that one does not watch from a distance, but that one helps carry. Together with Jakob, the audience embark on a poetic trip through the city. They move a world of sound over pavements and between façades and in doing so, temporarily dress the city in a new skin.
